The mission of PRIUM is to provide objective peer-to-peer evidence-based clinical consulting and medication management (PBM) services relative to the medical necessity and appropriateness of care for the injured party, meeting all regulatory and industry requirements.

History

Since 1987 PRIUM has been performing peer review services for Utilization Review (UR) and Utilization Management (UM) for all insurance markets. PRIUM is Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) accredited for  Workers' Compensation, Auto, General Liability and Personal Injury Protection insurers.  PRIUM is also the first Utilization Management Company to offer Workers' Compensation Medication Management focusing on evidence-based clinical necessity, drug price, and utilization control.
